Since its origins in 1879 as Toronto Industrial Exhibition to the Canadian National Exhibition as we know it today, ART has always played a role in the success of the CNE. The CNE gave Canadian artists a place to exhibit their work and it presented one of the very few opportunities for visitors and artists to see foreign artworks without going abroad. The influence of these early exhibits for Canadian artists and collectors was tremendous. It is our goal to continue and expand on that artistic legacy.

Call for Art Submissions

Please Note: You do not need to be a TWAC Member to Submit for this Exhibition

TO SUBMIT:

Step 1. PAYMENT:

Your non-refundable fee of $25 allows you to submit up to 3 pieces for consideration. Your fee must be received before your submission will be reviewed. You have the following payment options:

1. PayPal: Fill in the form below to pay for your submission via PayPal.
2. Credit Card: Call Artworld Fine Art Gallery @ 416-620-0500 to pay by phone.
3. Cheque: mail cheque payable to Artworld Inc. to 365 Evans Ave, Suite 101, Toronto, ON M8Z 1K2
4. In person: visit Artworld to pay by debit, cheque or credit card. You must still submit your artwork digitally. Artworld will not accept artwork delivered in person for consideration.

Step 2. ART SUBMISSION:

Send a high quality digital image(s) (JPEG please) attached to . You are encouraged to include additional detail photos of your work to assist the jury. Email must include Artist Name, Contact Information, Title of Work, Medium, Date, Dimensions (length by width for 2D work, length by width by height for 3D work) and a brief description of yourself and five sentences or less about the piece(s) you are submitting.

Step 3. CONFIRMATION:

Your submission will be processed when we receive the confirmation of payment. You will receive an email confirmation that your submission and fee have been received within 3-5 business days.

Submission Guidelines

• PLEASE READ THE FULL SUBMISSION DOCUMENT (PDF below) PRIOR TO SUBMITTING TO AVOID DISQUALIFICATION OR MISSING ANY DEADLINES.
• This call for submissions is open to all citizens and residents of Canada over the age of 18
• Submissions will be accepted in the following categories:

Acrylic/Oil | Watercolour/Drawing | Printmaking/Mixed Media | Photography | 3 Dimensional Media

• Size restrictions (2D): 36”x36”
• Size restrictions (3D): must be able to be displayed on a 16”x16” pedestal and weigh no more than 50 lbs.
• All entries must be of original design and personal execution created within the past year and cannot have been previously published.
• No reproduction work ie: giclée or lithography will be considered.
