My art is inspired by my relationships and my connection to the world around me. It brings me joy and thats what I endeavour to share through my art.
Biography
Meru was born in India. She is a graduate from Delhi University with a B.Sc. (Hons) following which she pursued a MBA from Bombay University. She has a 23 year investment banking career behind her.
She started leaning towards a desire to create art and in summer of 2009 she started with continuing education programs at New York Academy of Art, NYC.
She moved to Singapore and continued her art education at Lasalle College of arts and NAFA pursuing certificate programs in Painting and Sculpture.
She has participated in numerous group shows and has also use her art to raise funds for Children’s education. She loves teaching art basics to teens.
She now resides in Burlington, Ontario and continues her practice at AGB and OAS.
Her paintings and sculptures have found home in private collections in Singapore, Australia, India, UK and Canada.
