TORONTO WEST ARTS COLLABORATIVE

The Toronto West Arts Collaborative is a dynamic not-for profit arts organization devoted to supporting, promoting and developing art at the highest level by providing information, training, networking and marketing opportunities to emerging and mid-career artists. Members are given the opportunity to attend stimulating exhibits, informative lectures, experience building workshops, where together we can educate, promote and collaborate.

Provide stimulating exhibits, informative lectures and experience building workshops to artists and art enthusiasts, where together we can promote, educate and collaborate while sharing ideas and visions with peers and the community at large in an open environment.

2017 INTIATIVES

Our 2017 schedule of events promises to be even more exciting than ever!! The continuation of our monthly TWAC “U” series featuring guest speakers from the art community including Peter Kingstone – Acting Visual/Media Arts Grants Officer at Toronto Arts Council (TAC). TWAC members can look forward to new benefits as well as additional programming being added on a regular basis. We have been invited to return to the CNE for the third year, with our very popular TWAC Art Space featuring a juried exhibit and interactive art zone. We will be announcing details of the Outdoor Art Car Boot Fair in June, and our Member’s Show in the fall. Be sure not to miss the guided tour of the Craft and Design Artist-in-Residence studios at Harbourfront Centre located at Queens Quay. Shortly we will also be confirming details of the discounts available to TWAC members at three art supply shops.
