CAROLINE STANLEY
Caroline has always been a curious explorer, fascinated by colour, pattern and detail. While many people would be enjoying a spectacular view, she is likely to be found hovering around a tree trunk or kneeling by a lake. Her paintings capture these intimate moments with nature in saturated realism, creating a surface to explore and experience things often overlooked.

Since graduating from art school Caroline has continued her painting practice full time at the Burns Visual Arts Society in Calgary. Here she plays with paint, dances to Michael Jackson and occasionally takes a nap on her studio floor. In 2013 her work was chosen to be featured in the Calgary Stampede Rotary Dream Home and in 2015 was awarded 1st place Critics Choice Award in Toronto at the juried TWAC Canadian National Exhibit.
Her artwork continues to gain recognition nation wide and is eagerly sought after by art and outdoor lovers for its unique take on ‘landscape’ and vivid views of nature.
