Ess Rad

Toronto born and Mississauga raised, but worldly at heart. My adventure into photography began on my first adventure into the world on my own; when I moved to Australia to further my education, and of course to see new places, learn new things, and meet great new people.

Before moving to Australia, I attended George Brown College in Toronto and held a Diploma in Graphic Design, majoring in New Media and Image Design. I upgraded that Diploma to a Bachelor of Visual Media from Griffith in Gold Coast and then went a step further and got my Masters of Digital Design in Motion Graphics from Griffith in Brisbane.

While I may not hold a degree in Photography, my plan was diversification. I have always had an interest in the arts, and even though my first camera came at 23 – a simple point and click – it was my interest in the arts, and my educational background that gave me the knowledge of the principles of design. It was there in Australia, where I discovered my love for photography. It was not just the ability to capture a moment in a creative way, but to capture or even create emotion that comes with it.
