Grant is inspired by the art of the Canadian Group of Seven, Jackson Pollack, and Walt Disney artists John Lounsberry & Mary Blair; and draws on their energy and creativity while working on his own personal works of art.

Biography
Grant Lounsbury’s fine art career spans 25 years and began in the field of traditional 2-D animation, where he worked on a variety of projects from Disney Television series to feature films with 20th Century Fox including Anastasia, and Titan AE. He currently works predominately as an oil painter and art teacher, though continues to use his animation background for many illustration projects. In his painting, he enjoys embracing a looser style that feels more alive & reveals to the viewer the movement, energy and compassion he feels as an artist. Grant’s work can often be found in a number of galleries in both the Finger Lakes area and his home town of Goderich, Ontario Canada.
