The difference between Réhahn‘s photos from other portrait photographers is the random and natural moment, of which, he captures when spending his time to interact with the models. Réhahn’s photos leave viewers to imagine the story behind each moment because he wants viewers to discover for themselves the beauty of the photos.

Biography

Réhahn is a French photographer currently based in Hoi An, Central Vietnam since 2011. He has always had a passion to discover new places and after visiting many countries around the world, he settled for Vietnam and in particular the little town of Hoi An classified as a world heritage town by UNESCO.

In 2010, Rehahn took up photography as a full time hobby and went exploring the hidden places of Vietnamto find the beautiful sceneries, Réhahn travels to meet people and capture the most natural moment of those individual he encounters. It is only through these faraway places that Réhahn learns of new cultures
and most importantly, learns to take photo in his very own special way. The difference between Réhahn‘s photos from other portrait photographers is the random and natural moment, of which, he captures when spending his time to interact with the models. Réhahn’s photos leave viewers to imagine the story behind each moment because he wants viewers to discover for themselves the beauty of the photos.

Within 4 years and ¼ of the country explored by motorbike, Rehahn gathered more than 45,000 photos, and 145 of his best photos were featured in his first photo-book “Vietnam – Mosaic of Contrasts”.
Sold in more than 29 countries and more than 2000 copies, Rehahn’s first book is a success; His book depicts his story of Vietnam that he wants to share with the world. Rehahn’s hard work as paid off by being recognized by some of the most prominent photography magazines such as the National Geographic where his photos were listed favoritesby editors, Foto Digital, Times (London), Los Angeles Times, Géo magazine, Globe Trotter Mag where is photo made the front cover.

After all the amazing Worldwide media coverage that Réhahn has received, another big reward was an article published on Boredpanda.com (1.5 millions followers on FB & 3 millions on G+) in December 2014, listing Réhahn as the fourth best portrait photographer in the world alongside very famous photographers
such as Steve McCurry, Jimmy Nelsson, Lee Jeffries … Within 1 week, the article was viewed more than 300,000 times and shared by more than 60,000 people worldwide. This article has now be reproduced in on any different media sites in Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Russian (big impact), Thai, Portugese, French and so on.

Réhahn’s photographic style will always be remembered for its special touch in catching the soul of his subjects, there are more emotions in his photos that words could tell.
